The Official School Day: 9.00am - 3.30pm   (32 hours 30 minutes per week)

Morning Session 9.00am - 12.30pm
Afternoon Session 1.30pm - 3.30pm

In addition to this we also run a wraparound child care service from 7.40am to 8.40am and 3.30pm to 5.30pm.  This is supported by an extensive range of free after school clubs.

The school day starts with a 20 minutes soft start from 8.40am to 9am.  On arriving at school the children should come straight into their classrooms where they should settle down with a quiet activity. 

We believe that good communication between the school and parents is very important and parents are encouraged to speak to their children’s teachers whenever they need to. Problems can usually be dealt very easily if we know about them straight away.

We are most grateful to all parents who ensure that their children arrive at school on time, properly dressed in school uniform and ready to learn.

It is the parent’s responsibility to inform the school of the reason for a child’s absence as soon as they possibly can. This should be done on the morning of an absence by telephoning the school office on 01409 241365 or by emailing info@bradworthy.devon.sch.uk.

If we don't hear from you, our office is required ring you at home so that the safety of all children is ensured.

If you are planning to take your child out of school during the day, or pick them up early, please make sure you inform the office and their class teacher. This can be done verbally in person or by contacting the school office.
