Are you an inspiring Early Years professional with a passion for creating magical learning experiences?

Bradworthy Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE) from September 2026. Our school has plans to expand our current Early Years provision and this is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who has a proven track record of leading within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting.

 

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated teacher with the vision and expertise to lead and inspire within our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality early education, ensuring all children receive the best possible start to their learning journey.

The role will be temporary at first with a view to become permanent. 

 

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Significant experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Proven experience leading a Foundation Stage Unit (essential)

  • Experience working with children between 2 and 5 years of age. 

  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues effectively
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and high standards for all pupils

  • Strong organisational skills

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of the EYFS curriculum
  • Provide strong leadership within the Foundation Stage Unit
  • Support and develop colleagues within the team
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the academy
