BRADWORTHY PRIMARY ACADEMY

BAF 2015

This year, 2015, Bradworthy School produced the best arts festival ever to be seen !

In the school hall everybody had there own unique pieces of art work as well as an under water tunnel that is travelling around the country and was completely made out of knitted wool.
Part of this wonderful knitted tunnel was a huge knitted sea horse that our children made five years ago and which has been travelling with the display.

In the school hall this year we had sea shanty singing, the brass band , our ukulele group and a band with some of our old children in called 180 Degrees, and lots more.
Our rock band played in the marquee on the villages square.
Some of Year Six gave up their time to steward the arts festival over the weekend. This involved meeting people and showing them around. We had loads of fun and enjoyed stewarding!

Overall everybody had a fantastic time producing and looking at the art work. Everyone who visited said what an amazing exhibition we put on.

We would also like to thank Alison Murry who brought in the knitted tunnel for all to see and Mr Sentence for all of his hard work with the art exhibition. We’d also like to thank Mrs Turner and Alex for their work with the music and loads of others for putting their time and effort into making this arts festival the best one ever.
