The PTA is here for you - the parents, guardians and teachers of all the children who attend the academy. Our main aim is to raise funds to purchase items that would otherwise fall outside the academy's budget.
Fundraising has already provided the academy with interactive white boards, football goals, gymnastic equipment, play houses and more.
The PTA is currently run by a core of volunteers who regularly attend the PTA meetings and help to organise events such as the School Fairs, Fetes and Bazaars, etc. We have members of the PTA, however everyone is free to contribute as little or as much as they like as infrequently or as often as they like.
PTA meetings are held regularly and everyone is invited to come along to any of the meetings whether it's simply to listen to what's going on, express an opinion, make a suggestion, volunteer to help or become a member of the committee.
We also have working groups consisting of volunteers who co-ordinate the fund raising activities.
If you are unable to attend a meeting and wish to make a comment or contribution such as how PTA money should be used to provide resources, please leave a comment or contact a member of the PTA.
If you feel you would like to get involved with the PTA, either by helping at an event, giving us a great idea or you have a skill that you think we could use, making cakes, marketing or PR experience to name but a few, then please get in touch.
We are always happy to welcome new volunteers and appreciate all the help that we get.
