BRADWORTHY PRIMARY ACADEMY

Pre-School

We believe that strong partnership between parents/carers and the pre-school creates a secure and caring environment, from which children can grow educationally and emotionally. We care for our children and want them to succeed. The pre-school is situated within the grounds of Bradworthy Primary School and moved to a brand new, purpose built area during the summer holidays of 2013. We have an indoor classroom with additional toilets, kitchen area, storage cupboard and office, plus our fantastic outside play area which has a colourful and safe floor surface. We can also use the school playground, playing fields and other resources.

Children can join us from the term following their 2nd birthday. We work with parents/carers to gradually encourage independence until children are happy to stay on their own.

Under the Early Years Foundation Scheme, children can receive 15 hours of free education per week, commencing the term after their third birthday (these can be split between Ofsted registered child care providers). Fees are £3.00 per hour for all children who are not eligible for funding or who exceed their entitlement hours.

The pre-school is currently open for sessions five days a week, as follows:

Mondays 9.00 am - 3.30 pm

Tuesdays 9.00 am - 3.30 pm

Wednesdays 9.00 am - 3.30 pm

Thursdays 9.00 am - 3.30 pm

Fridays 9.00 am - 3.30 pm

Children can attend all day or just morning/afternoon sessions depending on individual requirements.

Please inform a member of staff or committee if this is something which would be useful to you.

We work with the Primary Academy with visits to the reception classes and your child can also have school dinners at a cost.
