Last Thursday was our Christmas party day, an awesome event which is always one of the highlights of the year.
Our PTA organised a spectacular day which we are all really grateful for, a huge thank you to all who contributed to the event giving up their time to make the day extra special for all of the children.
Also a huge thank you to everybody who brought in food for the party buffet, the children were thoroughly the stuffed!!
Our final thank you goes to everybody who donated money for the Christmas jumper day, money was raised in aid of Save the Children.
The entertainment was provided by Wonderstruck, who dazzled with exciting science on the stage in the memorial hall, children got to see explosions, rocket bottles, fire and a staff member hitting a cinder block with a sledge hammer!
After the show children from classes 1,2 and 3 got to take part in a rocket building competition which were fired onto the school field, children in classes 4,5 and 6 took part in an electric car building competition which were raced against each other in the hall.
The whole day was filled with fun, laughter, mountains of food and awesome science learning! We look forward to another spectacular Christmas party next year.
