Girls football year 4 North Devon Finals

Last week a team of 9 year 4s travelled to Kingsley school in Bideford to compete in the under 9 girls finals for North Devon. 

We started well with a very narrow 2-1 loss to Ilfracombe, the eventual tournament winners. After this setback the girls were unstoppable, 

Beating Kingsley 5-0, South Molton 5-0, Westcroft 2-0 and Kingsacre 2-1 resulting in an overall 4th place finish, our best finish in this tournament for 4 years. 

 

Well done team I'm immensely proud of your efforts, I look forward to seeing this team grow in the future!
