Gliddon and Squire Cross Country
Following a very strong start our fantastic Cross Country team have maintained their form in the final races of the season. In the final races of the year at Northam Burrows and West Buckland School, the children worked incredibly hard to earn points for their teams. At the end of the season their hard work resulted in some amazing results.
Eleanor Foster won the Under 9 Girls Competition after an amazing season, and Saul Barraclough came an impressive 4th in the Under 11 Boys Competition.
In addition to these fantastic results, both our Under 9 and Under 11 Boys teams earned impressive Silver Medals, and our Under 9 Girls team finished the competition in 4th place.
These results are a real credit to the way in which the children ran as teams throughout each fixture.
It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud of all of our runners for their incredible hard work. We are already looking forward to seeing the children in action again in the forthcoming Cross Country Events.
