This week Class Five visited the Gildhouse at Poundstock to take part in a Tudor Day as part of our Tudor Topic. During the morning of our trip we were dressed as poor Tudors and we spent the morning baking bread, brewing ginger beer and making cob blocks - all using traditional Tudor techniques. During the afternoon we were able to dress as rich Tudors, and we went on a Tudor 'promenade' before we played games that wealthy Tudors would have played.
We all had a fantastic day, and gained a huge amount of knowledge and information which we can use to develop our topic studies. We would like to say an enormous thank you to all of the volunteers at the Gildhouse in Poundstock, who gave us such a fantastic experience!
