Area Athletics (Indoor - 2016)

We qualified for the North Devon Indoor Athletics Finals a couple of weeks ago when we won the our local area competition in Holsworthy.

The finals were held at the Leisure Centre in Barnstaple and involved the sixteen strongest schools from across North Devon.
We took part in relay races, standing long jump, medicine ball throws and  vertical jumps, and had a great time challenging ourselves against the other schools.

We finished in third place which is a great result - but a little disappointing too because we were only a few points away from qualifying for the South West Regional Finals in Plymouth.

At least we've got something to aim for next year now !!!
