BRADWORTHY PRIMARY ACADEMY

Bristol 2014

It's 11pm on Day Two and everyone is fast asleep!

We have had a fantastic evening, exploring the harbour area of Bristol and finding out all about the pirate heritage of the city.  We have certainly heard about some exciting characters, and have enjoyed exploring the smugglers caves and pirate's favourite pubs!!

Everyone is looking forward to a fun filled day at Crealy tomorrow!

We will see you all tomorrow evening!!!

t's 6pm on day two and everyone is about to head in for dinner.

We have had a wonderful day at the Zoo and visiting the SS Great Britain.  The weather has been very kind all day, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch on the harbourside and a walk along the river this evening on our way back to the hostel.

Our Madagascar session at the Zoo was wonderful, and we all had the chance to hold or stroke cockroaches, snakes and Madagascan Tenrecs.  Mrs Carey and Mrs Turner also had a more hands on experience in the main zoo, but we will let the children tell you all about that!!

After lunch we visited the SS Great Britain where we were able to find out about particular passengers in our investigation workshop, and then explore the ship with a very knowledgeable tour guide!

We are now going to have some dinner before our Pirate Walk this evening.  Everyone has been practicing their aaaaarrrr's ready!!!

We will update again this evening when we get back.  Thank you for the messages - the children love hearing them!!
