Class Four Orienteering at Haldon
Class Four have enjoyed 3 days of Orienteering at Haldon Forest this week.
We split into 3 teams with each one going on a different day to tackle the 'Yellow Course' at Haldon. The aim was simple - do the course faster than the other teams.
The children's map reading skills were noticeably improved from our previous visits in the Autumn Term and we were impressed with how well the children listened to each other to share their thinking when deciding where to go next.
Group 1 finished in 59:17
Group 2 finished in 58:02
Group 3 finished in 55:37 and will be going back to tackle an even more challenging course later in the Year.
