Dartmoor
The children in Year Six have been very busy completing training walks on Dartmoor this term. As you can see they have had varied conditions and some snowy conditions for these walks, where the children had lots of fun throwing snowballs at Sir! The children also witnessed varying levels of snowdrifts from 2 feet all the way up to 8 feet by Dinger Tor, where the children enjoyed using the drift as a huge slide! These were the starting walks leading into the longer (up to 25 mile) walks and the camping experience.
