Girls Tag Rugby Tournament
On the 8th of November we travelled to Bideford Rugby Club to take part in an all girls Tag Rugby Tournament.
This was our first Tag Rugby event as a school for several years, a sport that was very active prior to the Pandemic that hasn't really picked up since.
The girls did very well, winning all three of their group games comfortably, followed by a fantastic display in the semi final to book their place in the final.
The final was fought against hosts of the tournament St Marys, the girls played brilliantly but were incredibly unlucky to lose 5-4.
Winning runners up meant the girls received medals for their efforts, all of which were very pleased, I personally was very proud of their performance and thought they were very hard done by in the final.
