Gliddon and Squire 2019 Season
On Sunday 29th September we were up bright and early for the first race in the Gliddon & Squire Cross Country Series 2019. Our team of 36 runners (a school record!), made a terrific start to the series of races, with several children gaining top ten finishes, and some fabulous team perfornances. We also had lots of fun in the mud, with Finley making the most of the muddy course, and Ewan finding innovative ways to clean off his brother!!
At the end of the first race our two Under 9 teams are sitting in 3rd position, and our Under 11 teams are sitting in 4th position. This is a fantastic result after only one race, and we are already looking forward to the next race on Sunday 12th October at Shebbear College.
We must also pay tribute to some very brave parents who have also chosen to enter the Cross Country league! Currently both the Bradworthy Ladies and Mens teams are sitting in Silver Medal positions, and it goes without saying that we are all very proud of them!
