BRADWORTHY PRIMARY ACADEMY

Gymnastics Nationals

After the results of the Milano School’s Competition, our boys’ team qualified for a place at the National finals in Stoke-on-Trent. At this competition they represented the South West and competed against teams from all over England, Scotland and Wales.

The snow didn’t stop Harvey Dack, Josh Lui and Ewan Shadrick, and though they weren’t individually placed in the top three, they certainly didn’t look out of place competing against the much larger schools who are able to practice for many hours a week. The boys gave their group routine 100% and contributed to an amazing 3rd place nationally, for the South West region.

The gymnasts should all be very proud of themselves for reaching national level and preforming a one minute routine by themselves on the floor, two vaults and an amazing group routine made up of team balances, gymnastic moves and an element of dance and linking steps, with hundreds of people watching them. We are all incredibly proud of them, and their position in the National Results.

As a school we would like to thank all of our Gymnastics coaches and assistants, who have worked tirelessly to help our children achieve absolutely phenomenal results.
