Our school places a great deal of importance on our residential trips and we work hard to provide a series of visits which involve children from Years Three to Six.
They have always provided an exceptional experience for the children and it's got to be said that our staff really enjoy them too.
This year's Year Six group were simply amazing and, speaking for myself, I've got to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed every single second of the trip.
It's been an absolute pleasure being away with this group.
The children have received endless positive comments relating to their behaviour and attitude, and, in addition to this, they have shown outstanding levels of enthusiasm, independence and confidence - taking all of the demands of this trip in their stride and showing themselves to be thoroughly impressive people.
As Headteacher I can honestly say that I have never been as proud of a group of children as I have been of this group and I hope that the children themselves, and their parents, are feeling the same.
I'm absolutely certain that this experience has enabled every child to grow, and that we have all gained some wonderful memories that will stay with us forever.
