National Climbing Competitions
We took a group of enthusiastic climbers to the recent ' National ' qualifiers for the South West. All of the climbers have been having lessons in school with Simon Young and after two rounds of competitions we had some very encouraging results. We had numerous finishes within the top 10, which is no mean feat considering most of the other youth climbers were from clubs that climb for many hours during the week. We had a superb result, with Ngaio Parr finishing third in her category and qualifying for the National Finals in Edinburgh on April 28. We would like to wish her the best of luck in the final and say an enormous well done to all of the children who took part and did a fantastic job in all of the categories entered.
