North Devon Gymnastics Finals
Gymnastics is a big part of our sports provision and, putting aside the huge amount of success we've had over the years, the best thing about our work is the number of our children who choose to take part each week, and who choose to represent our school.
We took over sixty gymnasts (nearly a third of our school roll) to this years North Devon Schools’ competition. We had another year of outstanding success, winning a total of twelve medals:
- In the team competitions we won three Gold Medals – Under Eleven Boys’ Intermediate Team, Under Eleven Mixed Team and Under Seven Mixed Novice Team.
- We also won three Silver Medals – Under Eleven Girls’ Intermediate Team, Under Nine Mixed Intermediate Team and Under Seven Mixed Intermediate Team.
- Our Under Nine Girls’ Team won a Bronze Medal.
- In the individual competitions Jayden (Year Four) won Gold, Ewan (Year Six) and Hugo (Year Two) won Silver and Lola (Year Two) won bronze.
- Eleanor (Year Six) won a special award for Endeavour.
