At the end of March we took a huge number of children to the North Devon Schools' Gymnastics Competition, which involved over thirty schools and more than 400 competitors. We were thrilled with the number of children who chose to take part (over 60!), and we are thrilled to be able to tell you about our best ever performance at the event, in both team and individual categories. It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud of all of the children who competed. Especially, in this event, Dan in Year Three. Dan stepped in to one of the teams who were missing a member due to illness. He learnt the routine 15 minutes before the competition and performed with confidence in front of everyone. Most impressively, the team won a Gold trophy! Well done Dan.
We must also thank everyone who is involved with our Gymnastics teams and the sessions provided in school. Their hard work and incredible effort has again given us an amazingly successful year of results, and some a very full trophy cabinet!
