Space Chase 2019!

Earlier this term we were visited by Mary and Helen from Holsworthy Library, who came to present lots of our children with certificates and awards for completing the summer reading challenge.   We were incredibly proud of the children who spent time in the summer holidays accessing the library and reading six books or more.  As always, we are very grateful to Mary and Helen, as well as our fantastic librarian Kymble, for all of their help in supporting our children to develop a love of reading.

Every year libraries across the country run the Summer Reading Challenge, encouraging children to visit the library and read six books over the holidays. This year the theme of the challenge was "Space Chase" inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. A fantastic 26 children from Bradworthy completed the challenge this year, reading 156 books between them!
