Sports Day 2014
Congratulations to Robins who won this year's School Sports Day.
This year's events took place over two days in July and involved children from Reception all the way up to Year Six.
As well as traditional events, such as the "egg and spoon" race, we had a full program of athletics with races from 50m all the way up to 2000m, which was run on a course which went out in to the village, as well as hurdles and relays.
Our athletics also involved long and high jump competitions and the throwing events; discus, javelin and shot put.
Team events included rugby, football, netball, hockey and a mixed doubles tennis competition.
As you can see from our web-site sport is a huge part of life at Bradworthy and it's fantastic that all of the children get involved at this time of the year to celebrate this.
