This year we enjoyed our Sports Day(s) in early July, and we were blessed with wonderful weather helping the days to go along smoothly! Our Key Stage One children enjoyed a very busy morning taking part in a range of PE activities and races, with each activity gathering points for our four house teams. Our younger children threw themselves into their Sports Day brilliantly, and paved the way for our Key Stage Two children to start their activities that afternoon. The KS2 Sports Day started with team competitions for Netball, Hockey, Football and Rugby, with the finals of these competitions taking place on the morning of the second day of sports. Following these activities the athletics competition started, with children taking part in races, jumping and throwing events throughout the afternoon.
After two very busy days we were very proud of all of the children, and pleased to award the Puffins team with this year's Sports Day Trophy after a very closely fought competition!
