Winter Walking

As you can see from the snow we've started our "Ten Tors Challenge" training early this year !

There was more than enough snow for a snowball fight, although it's got to be said that we had to work hard to find some "white stuff" as it was only lying on the very top of the moor between Yes Tor and High Willhays.
As much fun as it was we didn't stick around for too long because with wind chill the temperature was well below zero !!

It was a much kinder day once we were back in the valley, however it was pretty wet underfoot - as you can see from the photo it was "knee deep - wet underfoot" in some places !!!
