BRADWORTHY PRIMARY ACADEMY

World Book Day & Easter Egg Hunt

Once again we have been able to enjoy festivities in school for World Book Day.  This year we not only dressed up as characters from our favourite books, but also took part in a whole school quiz which was expertly organised by Kymble Eldridge, our new Librarian.

During the quiz we saw representatives from each house battling for the World Book Day Trophy, facing some incredibly challenging questions. In addition to this everyone was able to take part in a range of games and questions in different rounds, with many children winning bonus 'Easter Egg' prizes!

After a very close quiz, with all teams putting in an amazing performance, we were able to crown the Robins as the winning team, and they will now take possession of the trophy until next year!

After a busy morning we were then able to get stuck in to an Easter Egg hunt which had been set up for us all to enjoy by our wonderful PTA. The children had to hunt all over the school for clues and letters, before swapping their completed sheet for an Easter Egg!  This was a wonderful way to finish the Spring Term, and the perfect start to the Easter Holidays.  Thank you, as always, to our fabulous PTA who put in so much effort to provide the most amazing experiences for our children!
