Year Five Surfing

After lunch on the beach and a quick game of football on the sand Year Five spent the afternoon at Westward Ho! taking part in their first school surf lesson.
As you can see from the photos the conditions were perfect for beginners and quite a few people made it to their feet - not bad for first tome out !
They'll be having a series of lessons in the Autumn Term when we get back after the summer break.
