Year Three on the Beach
Last week, Class 3 visited Summerleaze beach as part of their topic on Coasts. The children started off the morning doing a successful beach clean to do their bit for the local environment and also to support our new plastic free schools status! The children then enjoyed an hour creating their own turtle sculptures in groups using materials found on the beach, to replicate the turtle Laura finds in The Wreck of the Zanzibar which has been a recent class story.
