  • Bideford Football Rally - Autumn 2010

    Fri 19 Nov 2010

We had a great time at the Bideford School's Football Rally in November 18th.
It was a great chance to test ourselves against some of the big Bideford Schools and we did a pretty good job!
Our A-Team played four games; losing one, drawing one and winning the other two.

    Bradworthy 0 - 0 Westcroft
    Bradworthy 1 - 0 St Margaret's
    Bradworthy 0 - 1 Appledore
    Bradworthy 5 - 0 Abbotsham

Our B-Team played fantastically well with Casper scoring five goals during the afternoon. They were unbeaten, drawing two of their games and winning the other two.

  • New School Training Tops

    Thu 18 Nov 2010

The photos show our football teams during a team talk and warming up before the Bideford Rally which took place on November 18th.

We're wearing the fantastic waterproof training tops which have been bought for us by mystery parents who want to stay anonymous.

The children look brilliant and the tops kept everyone warm and dry on what was an afternoon of very wet weather.

We'd all like to say how grateful we are - even if we can't say who to!

  • New School Minibus

    Thu 18 Nov 2010

This is us beside our brand new school minibus which finally arrived this November.
We used it for the first time last week to go to a football rally in Northam.
We go out on loads of trips with the school and the minibus is going to make this a lot easier -
    and a lot cheaper !!!
It will also be useful when we travel down to our partner school in Putford and when there children come up to visit us.

  • Harvest Festival

    Mon 15 Nov 2010

It was great to have Dave Dawson back working with the children last week and I thought that together they prepared and put on a fantastic celebration of Harvest in the village church last Friday.

We’d all like to thank Rev. Dorrington for the use of the church and for making us so welcome and in addition to this it was good that so many parents were able to give up their afternoon to come along and support the children.

Putting the Harvest Festival to one side I think that the show was a huge achievement from the children, who were able to learn songs and dances in only a couple of hours spread over less than a week.

As always on these occasions I felt very proud of them all and I think the fact that they were able to achieve so much is so little time was a huge credit to them and their general willingness to "get stuck in" and have a go.

  • Children In Need

    Fri 12 Nov 2010
We've held a non-uniform day and cake sale in support of Children In Need. We're jumping up and down to celebrate the £170 we raised.
  • Harriet Potter Rehearsals

    Wed 10 Nov 2010

As the photographs show rehearsals are well underway and stage is under construction for our Christmas musical - Harriet Potter.

It's just as well as we're well into November and there are only a few weeks left until the first performance is upon us !!

Although as the last photo shows its not all hard work !!!
