Hello again everyone, Mrs T here with a  couple of pictures from today's epic adventure.   As you will have already heard all of the children safely climbed Snowdon today, and experienced real mountain conditions at the summit, which was incredibly windy and cold! As you can see from the pictures, everyone looks proud of themselves, as they should be!! Tonight is a trip to the cinema - I wonder how many children will still be awake at the end of the film?!

Hi everyone - this is a very quick update for you all to let you know that everyone made it safely to the top of Snowdon. Unfortunately it was below zero and incredibly windy on the summit, so phone calls home weren't possible due to signal etc. However, everyone has conquered the mountain and they are all feeling incredibly proud of themselves!

Hi everyone!  Mrs T here with some pictures from todays adventures at the Black Country Musuem. As you can see everyone has enjoyed themselves as they looked around the Victorian Town. They were also able to enjoy a tour of the mining caverns on a canal boat, followed by a tour of an underground mine! The travellers said that they had thoroughly enjoyed their day, and were heading towards the Youth Hostel when we last spoke to them.

I will update as soon as I hear anything from anyone. Please keep checking back for more information and pictures!

Good morning everyone!  It's 11am on day two and we are currently at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth.  Everyone slept soundly (with a lot of snoring!!) and has eaten an enormous breakfast before heading off for the day.  We are currently learning about the features of sail powered boats to help us with our designs for the 'Scrapheap Challenge' boat race that will take place after lunch.  We will try to get some more photos uploaded during dinner this evening so keep checking in!  Thank you to everyone for your comments - we will keep reading them to the children during the day.

PS - I found these pictures from yesterday when we were uploading this mornings photos.  I couldn't resist adding them.  The boys were rather mortified to discover that they had been intently staring at a lady in Victorian Underwear!!!  Also, Seb was keen to show Sir what a barber shop was like - we thought he may be able to visit one to get rid of his beard!!!

Hi everyone.  Its 8:30pm on Day Two and we are currently enjoying a rather competitive bowling match!  The children are giving the staff an amazing run for their money - in fact they are winning in most cases!!!

We have had a fantastic day at the National Maritime Museum and at Pendennis Castle.  As the pictures below show, we have been very busy, but have lots of stories to tell you all when we get back home.

We built our own 'Scrapheap' boats at the Maritime Museum and raced them across the indoor pool.

After three heats we reached the final as you can see below.

The results of the final were:

In Third Place - Oscar & Amelia

In Second Place - Nate, Bradley and Adam

Supreme Champions - Seb and William

After our races and a quick gift shop fix, we headed to Pendennis Castle where we were able to explore the forts, before being treated to a firing of an original WW1 gun, and a tour of the Half Moon Battery, with an expert who told us all about the way in which the battery was used during the War.  We were all engrossed in his stories and information, and the children asked some amazing questions!

As you can see we are now having lots of fun bowling, before heading back to the hostel where I think the children will fall asleep incredibly quickly!  If we dont manage an update in the morning, we will see everyone back at school at 6pm, after a very action packed day at Camel Creek (Crealy!).   Mrs T will get some photos from Crealy added during as soon as we are back, so please check back to see what we get up to!

Hello again everyone.  This is a final update to add some photos from our action packed day at Camel Creek Adventure Park.  As you can see from the pictures below, we certainly made the most of our last day on the trip, playing in play areas, and enjoying all of the rides and animal experiences that the park has to offer.

Throughout the trip the children have been amazing, and I speak for all the staff when I say how proud we are of them.  They constantly acted in a mature and enthusiastic way, and we received endless compliments everywhere we went based on their behaviour, manners and attitudes.  They have been amazing ambassadors for our school, and their families.

As always I am very grateful to our wonderful staff for coming along on these trips and making everything run smoothly!  I am sure you will join me in thanking Imogen Musson, Helen Carey and Alex Rushton for all of their hard work and effort this week.

Hello everyone, we are reaching the end of Day One, and thoroughly enjoying our adventure so far. We have had a fantastic day at Flambards (exploring museums and rides!), and we are currently battling away for Laser Quest Glory. Everyone has eaten really well, and there are big smiles all around. We will hopefully update with some photos from the laser quest shortly.  Sending lots of love to everyone back at Bradworthy!

The children in Year Three are very excited as they prepare for their residential visit to Penzance!  We will be away from Wednesday 2nd May to Friday 4th May, and will use this page to keep everyone updated with our adventures.  Please leave us a comment so that we can pass the messages on to the children.
