Our Year Six children are really lucky to be able to take part in a surf club this half-term.
We’re going over to Bude each Monday afternoon and, as you can see, our first session involved beautiful sunshine and some really good two to three foot waves.
A pretty perfect start.
Sorry these photos didn’t go up yesterday - as I’m sure you can imagine there isn’t much of a connection when you’re 150m underground.
We spent four hours exploring a huge underground slate mine on our last day in North Wales.
As well as walking a couple of miles in complete darkness (except for the light from our head-torches) we also crossed an underground lake, zip-wired, climbed waterfalls and rock faces, abseiled and generally had an amazing time challenging ourselves in a completely new environment.
We’ve had a great day and as you can see we’ve stopped for tea.
Traffic is terrible around Birmingham and we’re running late - sorry.
See you at about 11.30pm.
It’s our big mountain day!
We’re in four separate groups and we’re all in different places on the ascent.
The last photo is our second group at the top.
We’ll get photos from all the groups up this evening.

Check back later for photos.
We’ve had a brilliant day climbing, gorging and canoeing.
This evening’s paintball was a 2-2 draw so everyone is happy. The fifth match was staff v. children and carnage is the only way to describe it.
We’re currently in McDonald’s.
We’re safety back in the hostel and settling down to sleep.
We’ll be back in touch tomorrow.
Everyone had a great night and a good breakfast so we’re ready for today’s challenges.
Here’s today’s first photo.

We’ll get photos from the other groups up this evening.
