  • On The Rocks...

    Tue 27 Nov 2018

And so it begins... Preparations for our Christmas Production 'On the Rocks' have officially begun.   We have completed auditions which were very entertaining, and the children are currently working hard to learn their lines and all of the songs involved in this year's play.   We can't wait to show everyone all of our hard work, and we are sure you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves!  The productions will be taking place on Tuesday 18th December at 2pm, and on Wednesday and Thursday 19th & 20th December at 7pm, and everyone is welcome to join us for some sixties classics and pirate adventures!

  • Year One Autumn Walk

    Tue 27 Nov 2018

Year One were able to enjoy a walk around Bradworthy to investigate signs of Autumn.  The children were excellent detectives, looking for changes in colour and other signs that Autumn had arrived.  We were able to ask Richard, our Gardening teacher, lots of questions about plants and wildlife that we found!

  • Beach Clean Box

    Fri 23 Nov 2018

As part of our ongoing Plastic Free School's project, we have been given our very own beach clean box by the wonderful people at Surfers Against Sewage. To give the box a 'trial run', the children in Year Five completed a litter pick in and around the schools grounds and the playing fields.  As you can see, there was lots to be picked up!

  • Year Four Art

    Fri 23 Nov 2018
Class Four have been learning about the artist Andy Warhol and have been creating some art work in his style. As you can see from the pictures here, they have created some fantastic pieces of work!
  • Year Four Golf

    Thu 22 Nov 2018
Class Four have been enjoying some Golf Sessions at Holsworthy Golf Club. They have been having lessons with the club professional Joe Jordan and they have been doing really well. When the weather has been against us, Joe has set up some indoor putting activities for the children in the club house.
  • Lights, Camel, Action!

    Thu 01 Nov 2018

Our Key Stage One pupils have been working incredibly hard this half term, preparing their nativity performance, 'Lights, Camel, Action!'   They were able to share their performances with the wider community this week, firstly for the Key Stage Two pupils on Tuesday, and then to a packed house of parents and families on Wednesday.  The audiences were blown away by such incredible performances, with amazingly clear speech, disco dancing and superb singing.

It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud of the children who have taken part in this production.  They have worked really hard over the recent weeks and they deserve to be very pleased with themselves.   We must also thank all of the members of staff who have been involved with the preparations for this performance - the hard work most certainly paid off!
