  • Remembrance

    Mon 20 Nov 2017

This year, as we have in the past, we all visited the War Memorial in the Village Square on Friday 10th November.  We listened to stories and poems about Remembrance, and spent time listening to the names of men from the village who died during the World Wars.  The children learned about the history and significance of the poppy, and we were pleased to be able to share our visit to the memorial with members of the public who joined us for our two minute silence.

  • Road Safety - Emazdad

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and show, and as you can see from the pictures here, the children had a fabulous time developing their awareness of the importance of road safety.

  • Harvest Festival

    Wed 01 Nov 2017
This year we celebrated our Harvest Festival on the last day of the half term, in the village church.  We sang many harvest linked songs, and enjoyed performances from our Key Stage One children, along with our Rock Band.  It was lovely to be able to gather together to share the event, and we would like to thank everyone at the Church for making us so welcome, along with all of the parents who gathered with us to share the morning.  It was lovely to see such a packed church, and we are already looking forward to our next school events.
