  • Macbeth

    Thu 18 Oct 2018

As part of our ongoing ethos and commitment to giving our pupils a range of experiences, our Year Six pupils were taken to Plymouth in October to watch a performance of Macbeth at the Theatre Royal. Having studied the play in class, the children thoroughly enjoyed watching it come to life, and hearing some very familiar phrases and speeches! They were able to support the work they had completed in class really well, and we were very impressed with the way that they watched, and enjoyed the performance as they watched!

  • Great Bradworthy Bake Off

    Wed 17 Oct 2018

In October we held a coffee morning, and the Great Bradworthy Bake Off, in aid of Macmillan Cancer

Support.    We received hundreds of delicious entries, and each category was judged during the morning by a team of experienced judges!  After the judging the cakes and treats were sold during our coffee morning, in which we raised £227.66!

We would like to say thank you to everyone who took the time to bake and submit entries, and thank you to everyone who came to support the coffee morning in school.  We would also like to congratulate the winners of each category who are pictured below, and especially our Star Baker Olivia!  We would also like to thank Teena for all of her hard work in organising the event and making sure we had lots of tasty treats in school!

  • Year Three Roman Shields

    Thu 11 Oct 2018

This term Class 3 have been learning all about Italy and the Romans. As part of this, we have looked at examples of different Roman shields and Roman army formations. We took inspiration from these shields to design our own and painted them using the colours the Romans used. Once they were dry, we went outside and imagined we were the Roman army, re-enacting their formations. We all had a great time and realised how important it is to work together as a team!

  • Reception Class Updates

    Tue 02 Oct 2018

Our new Reception class joined us in September, and it is safe to say they have done an outstanding job getting stuck into life in school! As you can see from the range of pictures below, they have been very busy!

So far this term they have taken part in parent workshops, forest school sessions, a trip to Rosemoor Gardens and Children in Need!  We are all very proud of the way that the children have settled into school, and we cant wait to find out what they get up to next!
