• Class Page Update - Nov 2012

  This photo shows Reception having a go at "driving" Burt's tractor which visited us from Robert Coles.

  It's just one of the things we've been up to recently.

• Children in Need 2012

  We supported Children in Need last Friday with a non-uniform / pyjama day and a cake sale.
  We raised £ 198.71

  

• Rugby at Petrock

  On Friday 16th November our rugby teams spent the day playing rugby at Petrock in Barnstaple.
  This was our first competition of the new school year and, as you can see from the "Gamgam Style" celebration, we had a lot of success.
  Our A-Team won the competition.
  Our B-Team finished in third place.

  

• Hockey Coaching

  We've started to work with our hockey coach again this November.
  It's great to be able to work with an expert and when we get good enough we're hoping to be able to play some matches against some other schools.

  

• Football at Sandymere

  We spent the afternoon of Wednesday 14th November, with twelve other teams from the Bideford area, at the football centre in Sandymere.
  The weather was brilliant and we had a great time, although we had some mixed results.

• Forest School - Year 3

  Year Three are spending Friday mornings at Forest school this November.
  These photos are from their first session.
  Everyone had a great time - despite the poor weather.

  

• Sport at Langtree

  We had a great time playing netball and football at Langtree this week.
  Thirty of our children were involved, including several who played their first match for the school.
  We had three great wins:

• Class Four - Rosemoor

  Rosemoor Gardens Monday November 5th.

  Year 4 had a fantastic day exploring Rosemoor Gardens. Our focus was to gain more first hand experience about invertebrates and their habitats.
  We looked in particular at those that live in a woodland habitat as well as those that live in and around ponds.
  We used  bug viewers to get a closer look  at the creatures we found and then developed our observational skills as we attempted to draw as much detail as possible.
