• Year Six Leavers

  As we reach the end of what is most certainly a memorable year, we say a very loving goodbye and good luck to our wonderful Year Six class.  

  More than ever, these children have blown us away with their resilience, effort and positive attitude, and as you can see from the pictures below, they have thrown themselves whole heartedly into an action packed last few weeks in school.  

   

  We are incredibly pleased to have been able to offer the children the opportunity to take part in a range of activities over the last few weeks, and they have been very busy taking part in surfing, kayaking, abseiling, Dartmoor walks, an visit to the North Devon Wake Park, and an enormous water fight and BBQ in their last weeks in school.  

  This was finished with our Leaver's Assembly, in which we were able to celebrate the amazing efforts, achievements and memories of our wonderful Year Six group.     Our traditional Academic Honours were awarded, along with many medals and other prizes.   This was brought to a close with Sir's reading of Forever Young, our school song, and our wish for our amazing Year Six Leavers.

• Achievement and Effort Certificates

  As part of our Leaver's Assembly each year, we award certificates to a small group of children across the school.  These certificates recognise exceptional effort and achievement, and are awarded to children whose teacher's feel have consistently shown an excellent attitude and effort in their work.  

   

  As we have not been able to award these certificates this year within the Leaver's Assembly, we decided to celebrate these children in a video.   You can find the video here, in our Video Resource Centre. 

  The certificates are ready and waiting to be presented to the children in September!  

   

  We would like to say an enormous well done to all of our children this year, and an extra congratulations to those who have been awarded one of our certificates.  

  We are incredibly proud of you all!
