Some of us took a break from rehearsals for our Christmas Musical this Friday when we went down to the new wall that Simon, our climbing teacher, is building near Bodmin.
As you can see it's a lot bigger than our school wall and a great place to develop our skills.
Hopefully we'll be able to visit regularly in the new year.
With less than a week to go play rehearsals for our Christmas Play, The Hobbit, and our KS1 Nativity are well under way.
Performances:
KS 1 Nativity at 11.00am on Wednesday 12th December in the village church.
The Hobbit is being performed in the Memorial Hall on -
Tuesday 18th December at 2.00pm,
Wednesday 19th December at 7.00pm,
Thursday 20th December at 7.00pm.
If you want to watch The Hobbit you'll need tickets. They're free but please contact Rose in our office quickly because evening performances are nearly "sold out" !
Christmas is getting close !!!
The children in Reception were a bit worried that if Father Christmas' Reindeers got hungry they might not be able to pull the sled and deliver presents at Christmas.
They only solution was to go down to our local shop and but some carrots for them !!
Our Brass Band have been over to Atlantic Village in Bideford to perform Christmas Carols to the shoppers.

We think that this is the perfect way to start off what is going to be another very busy Christmas in School.
We'd like to thank Lucy, an ex-pupil, who came back for the evening to help out.
The older children run our Christmas Fayre each year as a business project.
Each House Team has a budget of £30 and they have to make the biggest profit.
As you can see in addition to selling craft items they also set up and ran loads of different activities, games and competitions.
The Christmas music came from our wonderful Brass Band.
If you want to know who made the biggest profit you'll have to check our web-site later in the week.
Our Year Six children are taking part in an "Apprentice Style" business project this week. They are competing in their House Groups to to make the biggest profit (hopefully !) at this years Christmas Fayre.
There preparations have included cooking, making craft items and organising activities, competitions and games. Each team has been given a £30 budget and on Tuesday they went to Asda to buy the things that they will need for the fayre.
They have also been producing spreadsheets so that they can cost their business plans which will hopefully ensure the biggest possible profits.
Thank you to everyone who came into school this Tuesday to help the children make "Christmas Crafts" for the fayre which is taking place from 2.30pm on Friday 30th November.
All of this support meant that we made some great things and had a fantastic time too.
