  • Male Voice Choir Concert

    Tue 17 Jan 2023 Richard

Lots of wonderful events had to stop because of the pandemic and one of the things that we missed most was performing alongside The Torridge Male Voice Choir.

It was great to get another concert under our belts this week.

We performed in the village church to a packed audience and everyone had a brilliant time.

  • Harvest Festival - Autumn 2022

    Tue 17 Jan 2023 Richard

It was lovely to spend some time down in the village church celebrating harvest this October.

We received the usual warm welcome from our village vicar Richard and held two services which were attended by well over a hundred parents and grandparents.

Our new band played their first songs of the new school year and we all sang some traditional, and not so traditional, harvest songs.

  • Halloween Disco - Autumn 2022

    Tue 17 Jan 2023 Richard

More thanks to our wonderful PTA.

This time for putting on a Halloween Disco and as you can see from the photos everyone had a brilliant evening.

  • Ten Tors - Summer 2022

    Tue 17 Jan 2023 Richard

Our intrepid group of Year Six Adventurers completed their Ten Tors Challenge on Dartmoor this July with tree days of wild camping.

They racked up over twenty miles of walking using the skills they had developed to navigate themselves around a route they had prepared in school.

Everyone had to cook their own meals and basically take responsibility for themselves on the camp site and I've got to say what an amazing job everyone did.

Although, as you can see, it certainly wasn't all hard work; with plenty of time for things like swimming and ghost stories that went long into the night .....
