It's the middle of the day on Tuesday and we've finally got an internet connection - I'm in a cafe in Llanberis which the children are having lunch between climbing and kayaking !
Not that this is much of a hardship !!

This first set of photos were taken at The Black Country Museum yesterday on our way up.
As you can see we had a greta time on the canal, down the mine and in the Victorian School room.
Unfortunately (as you can see from the photo) two of our group were "naughty in Class" !!!

The last photo was taken at breakfast this morning.
As you can see we;ve arrived safely. Everyone is very happy and has had a really good nights sleep - which is just as well considering the busy week we've got ahead of us !

  • Gingerbread House

    Fri 12 Jun 2015
Our Reception children spent the day at Rosemoor Gardens just before the end of term.

As well as enjoying the gardens they also spent some time looking at the wonderful Gingerbread House which was on display. It was knitted by the same people who knitted the underwater tunnel which was such a special part of our Art Exhibition this Easter and it was brilliant to see more of their work.
  • Bristol Zoo

    Tue 09 Jun 2015

We started our day with a session based on Madagascar and the animals that can be found there.  We were able to hold and touch Hissing Cockroaches, a Painted Cobra and a Madagascan Tenrec.  After this we were able to explore the zoo and take lots of photos of all of the exciting animals!

  • Bristol Residential - Monday 8th June

    Mon 08 Jun 2015

Hello everyone!  It's almost eleven oclock on day one and we are just settling down for the night.

We have had an amazing day, becoming fully trained Forensic Detectives at @Bristol, and then with a very interesting Pirate Walk this evening.

We have learnt how to take fingerprints, test inks, make plaster casts, and completed experiments to see our DNA!  We have also explored all of the scientific exhibits and had lots of fun playing all of the games!

Tonight we have found out all about the Pirates of Bristol (and their links with the South West!), and we even visited a few pubs to look at pirate caves and smuggling coves!

The children have eaten really well, and all look ready for a good night's sleep before a busy day tomorrow!  Thank you for your messages - we will enjoy reading them through tomorrow.
