• Area Athletics (Indoor - 2016)

  We qualified for the North Devon Indoor Athletics Finals a couple of weeks ago when we won the our local area competition in Holsworthy. The finals were held at the Leisure Centre in Barnstaple and involved the sixteen strongest schools from across North Devon. We took part in relay races, standing long jump, medicine ball throws and  vertical jumps, and had a great time challenging ourselves against the other schools. We finished in third place which is a great result - but a little disappointing too because we were only a few points away from qualifying for the South West Regional Finals in Plymouth. At least we've got something to aim for next year now !!!

  

• Gliddon and Squire - Coxleigh Barton

  The latest round in this years cross country running league took place this January at Coxleigh Barton in conditions that can at best be described as appalling !!!

   

  Everyone battled on despite driving rain and mud which was inches deep in places and it's good to report that everyone survived the challenge unscathed.

   

  The last race of the season is coming up soon and with our girls' team in second place and our under nine boys fourth we're hoping for some team medals - and some nice weather !!

  

• Bobby Pilgrim - The Play

  Our Christmas Musical, The Ballad of Bobby Pilgrim - Part Two, was a huge success and a real tribute to the incredible hard work that all of our children put in over many weeks. We're all feeling deeply proud of everyone. We performed three times to packed audiences of two-hundred people which was amazing. The final part of our trilogy will be performed at Easter and we can't wait to finish the story at the concert we're now planning.
