You can keep up to date with all of our latest school news on this page..
A record number of twenty-five children from Year Six completed this year's "Ten Tors Challenge" which is by far our school's most challenging sporting activity.
Given the amount of sport we are involved in this is really saying something !!!
This year's challenge involved a three day trip, and two nights wild camping, where eveyone had to fend for themselves.
This included putting up tents, supporting each other during the day and overnight, and even cooking all of the meals without any adult help.
The walking part of the challenge involved a six mile route without any support from adults and a total of over twenty-seven miles walking, spread over the three days.
It wasn't all hardwork though as there was plenty of time in the evenings for exploring the gorge which runs up from our camp site and even some late night ghost stories.
I think everyone involved should be feeling incredibly proud of themsleves.
After lunch on the beach and a quick game of football on the sand Year Five spent the afternoon at Westward Ho! taking part in their first school surf lesson.
As you can see from the photos the conditions were perfect for beginners and quite a few people made it to their feet - not bad for first tome out !
They'll be having a series of lessons in the Autumn Term when we get back after the summer break.
We’ve had a very restful night - which isn’t surprising when you think about yesterday’s Snowdon trip.
We made good time to Alton Towers and we’re queuing for The Wicker Man.
We’ll try and keep the photos coming.
We’ve made it to the top !!!
Here are some more photos for today! It's so lovely to see so many smiling faces!!
The only way to describe tonight's battle in the forest is carnage !!!
We were battered, bruised and completely defeated - at least our staff were !!
As far as the children were concerned they had a great time and will clearly go on to become members of the SAS - or more likely mercenaries.
We're back at the hostel now and everything is proving much less violent.
In fact everyone is asleep - which, given our day in the mountains tomorrow, is a really good thing.
We'll post more photos tomorrow.
Having got soaking wet this morning we’re now scaling heights at Lion Rock.
As you can see we’ve abandoned the canoes for ten minutes to cool off in the lake.
Hi everyone,
We've managed to get lots of photos sent across today, so we wanted to share these with you. As you can tell, Richard has conquered technology and is managing to update with other pictures as well!
We will update again tomorrow and share more pictures of the big adventures!

We’re currently at the climbing wall so these photos are nearly live!
